One of the most special of the African airlines, Air Zimbabwe planes were easily recognizable from their unique livery design, featuring a stylized bird emblem on the tail fin, which represents the national emblem of Zimbabwe.
In the early 1970’s it was quite a memorable sight to see a group of Air Zimbabwe flight attendants, walking through the terminal. Known for their chic style, the flight attendants of Air Zimbabwe wore uniforms consisting of white shirt, navy blue skirt or trousers, and a distinctive red jacket with gold buttons.
