Beirut. The Paris of the Middle East. In the 1960’s, The Alcazar was the place to stay. A cosmopolitan high rise by the seaside, that catered to a sophisticated clientele with its modern aesthetic. It exuded elegance and refinement. The restaurant on the top floor provided incredible views of Beirut and the Lebanese coastline. Downstairs in the lounge, the bartenders knew what you liked. Old Beirut was truly special.
